Lesson 18: Reclining (Direction, Action, and Rhythm)
Instructors remind children there are five general groups of actions.
- Running group
- Standing group
- Walking group
- Reclining group
- Sitting group
Instructors show children the drawings of the reclining figures in the first image, and follow the listed steps.
- Instructors demonstrate sketching one of the reclining figures.
- Children copy the reclining figure until they have perfected it.
- Children repeat the process for each reclining figure.
