Lesson 22: Action Stories (Direction, Action, and Rhythm)
Show children the drawings of the action figures. First, instructors should demonstrate the exercise to children by sketching a figure. Then, direct children to copy the figure until they have perfected it. Repeat the process for each figure.
- Draw an ostrich and a pig running a race.
- Draw a dog running after a deer.
- Draw a girl blowing bubbles.
- Draw a boy rolling a hoop.
- Draw a girl fishing.
- Draw a boy running and flying a kite.
